Restorative
Composite (white) fillings – When cavities are small and detected early, the decay can be removed and a white, tooth colored filling is placed. The composite filling prevents the decay form becoming larger and/or spreading to other teeth.
Crowns – If a cavity becomes deep or large causing the tooth to chip away, a stainless steel crown is required to restore this tooth. Back teeth take a lot of pressure and force when chewing, so a strong replacement is needed once the large cavity is removed. If the large cavity occurs in a front tooth, a white, tooth colored crown is placed.
